As is our tradition, the Young Professional Advisory Council (YPAC) at Mujeres Latinas en Acción will host the 8th Annual Baile de las Calaveras, an exciting event that commemorates the Day of the Dead and helps underwrite the crucial work of Mujeres Latinas en Acción.
Hosted by YPAC, the event is taking place at Zhou B Art Center's beautiful event space on what will undoubtedly be a memorable Friday night. YPAC’s Baile de las Calaveras is the most important event for young professional Latinos in this city. With attendance growing annually, we sold out last year and are expecting once again over 450 attendees.
Baile de las Calaveras will include a breadth of activities to honor and share Latino culture. The event will feature drinks, food stations, a DJ, calavera face painting, fortune tellers, raffle prizes, and, of course, a lot of dancing!

About Mujeres Latinas en Acción
Mujeres Latinas en Acción (Mujeres) empowers Latinas through providing services, which reflect their values and culture and by being an advocate on the issues that make a difference in their lives.
Today, Mujeres remains a unique and vital resource--the longest standing Latina-led organization in the nation dedicated exclusively to Latinas, their families and their children. Mujeres' long term goal is to support Latinas to live lives free of violence, and ensure they have access to the resources and skills they need to enrich their lives and become leaders for their families and communities.
